Inkfire Attends Small Business Britain Event

Inkfire were recently invited to a networking event at the House of Lords by Small Business Britain. Cameron and Imali went to meet other disabled entrepreneurs from across the country and enjoy some canapés and champagne.

The event was a success, and the team at Small Business Britain did a fantastic job at trying to make it as accessible as possible. There were ramps for wheelchair users, a live caption system and British Sign Language interpreters for those with hearing loss, and wide spaces for the visually impaired.

Members of Lloyds Bank attended too with the aim of providing advice and contacts for the disabled entrepreneurs seeking finance options for their businesses. There were nearly 150 in attendance which was a fantastic turnout, and we’re looking forward to getting involved with more events held by Small Business Britain!

If you’re a small business owner or entrepreneur, why not sign up to the Small Business Britain newsletter and apply for their next mentoring programme? Many experts from various fields are available to help you grow your business, including our very own Imali Chislett – and the best part is, it’s free!
