Careers 100% Disabled led Team Remote First

Meet the disabled-led team
building inclusive brands worldwide.

We blend creative, technical and strategic support for businesses that care about accessibility, human-centred strategy and doing work the right way – not the rushed way.

Born from frustration with inaccessible corporate culture, Inkfire reimagines what an agency looks like when disabled people lead from the centre — not the sidelines.

About Inkfire

Inkfire is a remote-first, disability-led creative and digital team. We build accessible, thoughtful work for organisations that care about people as much as outcomes, and we want this role to feel genuinely developmental while still being a valued, paid position within the team.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Junior Web Developer to join Inkfire and help create websites that are responsive, accessible, and user-friendly for our diverse client base. This is a fully remote role for UK-based applicants.

This position is particularly suited to someone rebuilding confidence, refreshing their portfolio, or stepping back into digital work after time away. You’ll be supported by a team that explains the “why” behind projects, encourages growth, and understands that great work looks different for different people.

You’ll primarily work within WordPress, helping turn designs into clean, well-structured pages while supporting ongoing website updates, accessibility improvements, and content presentation.

Working Style

Everything in this role is delivered remotely. We use async updates, recorded walkthroughs, and structured check-ins so the role stays flexible without leaving anyone isolated.

Why This Role Exists

We want to create realistic routes back into paid digital work for talented people whose careers may have been disrupted by disability, caregiving responsibilities, health, burnout, or life changes. We care deeply about creating environments where people can grow in confidence while doing meaningful, professional work.

Important to know

This is a fixed-term contractor position and does not constitute employment status. Due to the nature of our client work, responsibilities may vary slightly depending on current projects and business needs. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be comfortable working remotely with their own suitable equipment and internet connection.
